This year we went to Puerto Rico and two of our children had the wonderful priviledge of joining us. It had to be one the most relaxing vacations I have ever been on. The first night we stayed in Old San Juan and the next morning went touring around. That afternoon we flew on a puddle jumper to the island of Culebra. The first day we had the whole beach to ourselves. It was paradise. We spent two nights in Culebra and then flew back to the main island to spend some time with family. On Sunday, November 4th (my sister happened to be in Puerto Rico at the same time) we all met at a cousin's home and had a family reunion. It was a wonderful day. We had some of the best Puerto Rican food ever. The next day Doug and I took the kids to El Yunque rainforest and hiked down into a waterfall. That night the kids got to kayak in Fajardo's bioluminescent bay. They had a great time.
